PriceRunner is a well known price comparison website that was originally launched in Sweden in 1999 and the UK in 2000. Since then PriceRunner has become extremely well known and one of the most used price comparison websites in th UK.

Price Runner stated out as a price comparison website in Sweden. The UK and Danish websites were released in 2000 but the Denmark website was closed down in 2002 due to poor performance. The UK website on the other hand thrived and became a huge success.

In August 2004, Value Click Europe and in 2004 PriceRunner was introduced to a wider European market with the release of the French and German websites. In 2005 PriceRunner USA was released and at this point PriceRunner became an internationally recognised price comparison platform.

PriceRunner UK boasts a massive index of products and offers "A price comparison website which helps you to compare products and prices from hundreds of retailers, side-by-side, helping you to choose the best deal whenever you are shopping." More...
