Outstanding Customer Service

I have purchased almost everything in my house from Argos. I have used both their website and their stores. The best thing I found about Argos's website is that you can "reserve and collect". This means that you can place your order online and collect the item from your nearest store. This is extremely convenient and is a great feature.

My main experience of Argos is when I were looking for a specific toy for my son in December 2007 and none of my local stores had it in stock. I called their website's helpline and told them that I really needed to get hold of this toy. They said they had one in a store 45 miles away, then put me on hold which I found a little disheartening. When the advisor returned he said that if I reserved the item with him there and then he would transfer the stock to my local store and I could collect it the very next day.

For me that was absolutely fantastic and I always recommend Argos. They are, in my opinion, the best catalogue shopping company there is.
