Acitivity Who?
My poor experience started when trying to book the experience with Worsley Park Golf when they stated that they didn't offer this experience with Activity Superstore. 4 phone calls later and I was finally booked with 6 other golfer from Red letter.
The day didn't start to well either when the Pro informed the group that they weren't expecting us (Even though the Golf club phoned me to confirm the date). So onto the field where we hit lots of balls with minimal tuition as the Pro was also dealing with his other lessons. I can remember counting up to 12 people that he was coaching so I reckon that I got less than 5 minutes of personnel tuition.
As stated, lunch was provided but do not expect to choose from a menu as sandwiches and soup is the cheap option. Also do not expect to have a free drink with your lunch as all drinks have to be paid for unless you have tap water. I can't remember the last time I had lunch without a drink but there you go, it seems as though the club wanted to do things on the cheap.
After lunch things still did not improve and by this time the group had realised that the Pro had other priorities as he was committed to other lessons. At the end the day the Pro didn't even bother coming onto the course with us which was part of the advertised day. All in all a terrible experience, do not book through Worsley Park Golf as you will have a better time having Colonic irrigation.
Beware!!!!!!! nightmare!
It is RUBBISH!!!!!!!!!! I contacted them several times to book the experience I got a voucher for. First it was unavailable, then it was available 300miles from where I live! and now, when I contacted them a month before the voucher expires, not only was I offered only one date but a date when I am not in UK!
It is unbelievable that you need to wait 3 months for your experience! and besides that, you need to cancel all your plans as you cannot even choose a date! This gift has become a nightmare rather than a thrill. Now I was forced to extend the voucher for another £15 and I bet I will experience many more problems to book a date as they don't care about customer's preferences.
Terrible Service
The website states that they offer "unrivaled customer service" - it is certainly unrivaled - its the worse company I have ever dealt with in my life. Nearly 6 months later & I still have not been able to book an activity - they lose the voucher, tell you it is no longer available and then send you incorrect or inaccutate detail.
Use the site for ideas then book direct for a better price & better service.
Very Poor Customer Service
I registered a voucher for London Theatre and Dinner for 2 in July 2009. When I was visiting London I tried to book the activity but was told there was an 8 week lead time. I will not be in London again before the voucher expires so I tried to extend it on the Activity Superstore website. When I filled in the details and tried to extend the voucher I kept getting the message invalid voucher number. I have since sent two emails and have not yet received a reply. I am very unhappy with the service from Activity Superstore.
