Buying perfume, aftershave or fragrances online is great as you can save money with the convenience of haaving it delivered directly to your home or office.When buying perfume or aftershave online please be aware that it's not like buying a TV or an item of clothing. Once you receive your chosen purchase, it should be sealedm and if you decide you don't want it - you must not open it. Since fragrances are sealed liquid containers, you cannot send your perfume back once opened.
The distance selling regulations are slightly different for consumable and perishable items in that any consumable or perishable item such as perfume and aftershave should be delivered in a sealed container, and providing the seal has not been broken the retailer may accept it back. In contrast, however, once the seal has been broken, the perfume shop is unlikely to accept it back.
Last note: There is no cooling off period with consumable items such as perfume and aftershave. Once purchased, the retailer or online shop does NOT have any obligation to accept the perfume, aftershave or fragrance back or offer a refund. Most frangrance shops will usually offer you a credit not for returns where the seal has not been broken. If you buy fragrances that do not come in a sealed container, you cannot send them back whatsoever.
